BNR34 vs EVO IV (5:5)

10 August 2008, Sunday

Hi all.

Yay so super happy, I managed to catch up with the scores and won silly head all the way to make it level again. It was 1:4 lor. It was raining heavily today, so I went out late. I went to silly head’s secret birth place. The bus took 30 minutes to come! I alighted 2 stops late, and I thought it was only one stop because I pressed the bell almost immediately after I realised I overshot. I took 1 bus back, alighted one stop, and realised it was not the right stop. So got to flag another bus and alight another stop. These stops were not walkable distance because of the construction around the place. After alighting, I got to guess the way there, so I was still lost until I found the enchanted place. I spent some time flagging taxi but nobody wanted me =(. Later on I managed to get a cab, boarded on it. The taxi driver was a nice guy, he entertained me the whole journey. So later when paying money, he accidentally gave me extra $10, I gave him back, haha.

I met Nicholas at Singapore Botanical Gardens. We caught the SSO classics in the park at the SHAW symphony stage. Don’t really know what they were playing lah, so noisy. Soft parts couldn’t hear, loud parts very whacking. Haha. It was nice seeing people around me enjoying picnic and having fun. Nicholas passed me the ntu shirt and I gave him his concert tickets. There was this find the difference in the pictures thing, I managed to find all 5 within the time limit, then submitted, hoping will get one of the 5 goodie bags as a lucky draw prize. Yet, my name was not called. Sian!

We took cab out and he dropped me at Tangs. Silly head had a hard time finding me, then we went to find the Japanese restaurant which we wanted to have, the tatami dining style (kneel down on a low table and eat, traditional Japan eating style). After some effort we managed to find it, the Kiriya Japanese Restaurant, and it sold really expensive food. But after asking, they have removed the tatami room for 3 years already, and they had a big one for private and party use, booking cost $400 something. I shall have that for my 21st birthday! We had another Japanese restaurant instead, at normal prices. It was called Restaurant Kanagaoka. We had the normal hot green teas, Taminabe Udon (tempura prawn, mushrooms, egg, fishcakes, chicken), pork raman set containing pork raman in pork soup base (very nice!), 3 califonia sushi and a lousy salad. The soup base was so nice that I used it for my own udon! I had a small bowl so I put my udon into it with the pork soup base. We also ordered a pair of Tobiko sushi. It cost $6.20! Let me tell you, the real sushi. Crispy fresh seaweed, less rice, more filling. The Tobiko were crunchy, really nice. Even the wasabe, you could taste that it came from vegetable? Silly head said it was sweeter. The normal wasabe we had from sakae came from wasabe powder. This was the original one from the plant.

We were not very full, so we ordered this, the watermelon ice cream. The watermelon ice-cream wa kawaii desu! Look!

look! ahhh =)

Of course it was delicious too, it tasted just like watermelon itself. The eating was fun too, like digging coconut flesh. That would be all for the night. We took the train back to Tampines, had a race (where the 5:5 came about) before heading home. Tomorrow will be a long day, and my tutorial still undone! Yasuminasai for now!

watashi wa sick desu =(

9 August 2008, Saturday

Hello all.

So happy to see my sec1 junior tagging! I hope she is doing well and playing well. I wish that you will be the band major! =)

Today is national day. Eh?

I am falling sick, yes. My nose have been running, and I could foresee cough, sore throat and fever upcoming too.. I overslept today. I was so sick and tired that I slept for more than 12 hours. I was supposed to meet silly head at 1.30pm but he called my house at 2pm, I was still sleeping. He came up to my house later to see me eating. After some time we left my house.

We played Initial D first. We raced thrice, all at night, but one of them was the raining one. Raining was tough and I lost. The rest I won! We took the train to Bugis, and we found our way to Victoria Street. But it was closed. =( So we made our way to the national library to study for the rest of the day, but it was closed also. Suay leh! Ok and then we took cab to SHAW building and studied in Macdonalds. So sicky, =(. After studying, we went to find dinner. We ate at this place called “pasta cafe”. The food was normal lah. We had a blend of rockmelon, mango and milk mock tail, small prawn salad (2 pathetic prawns only!! =( ), small seafood spaghetti, small slipper lobster spaghetti, all as a set meal of $24.90++. The slipper lobster was very nice. He ordered the meatball and sausage pasta for himself.

After eating we saw a baby fair at Ngee Ann City. So we walked around. Babies these days are really lucky! They got so many toys, nice bed, nice car seats, nice little tables and chairs which not only bring fun but sometimes also aid in their brain development. We learnt about breastfeeding too. We saw the whole process of the sucking and licking from the baby’s mouth from the nipple. It was pretty interesting.

And then we took the train back to Tampines. I will win Ryosuke soon! He was just in front of me by a car’s length all the time just like those races in the anime. I could see victory coming. We raced again before going home, and I won again! The exit time left of the race against Nakazato is currently 10 seconds. It was a great improvement. Late already, time to sleep. Another long day tomorrow. Yasuminasai!

first week of school

8 August 2008, Friday

Hello all.

It is only the first week of school and I am already mugging like argh. Lessons were fine, for now. I met my lovely roomie already.

Her name is Elizabeth. Ex tpjcian, a shooter, nie student taking degree, going to teach maths and geo.

I also met silly head’s roomie. His name is “zheng xiang”, also nie student, taking Chinese ( I think, because his Chinese was really very zai). Big size guy who likes to play basketball.

We have been having dinners at canteen 2 and canteen 9. No disasters yet, haha! The canteen 9 “local specialities” was lousy, “western food” sold korean and japanese food too, but ok ok only. Lunch once in broadway, overwhelming people, and also some people with no manners and common sense.

I found out that my shoe was going to spoil on Monday, and I wanted it to last till Friday then I could buy a new one over the weekend. However, I ended up going to town on Tuesday with silly head, haha! First stop: URS, I bought a new shoe. Silver colour also, has a netting over the feet, very elegant, $39.90. I wished the old shoe would just spoil earlier so that I could enjoy gss. Oh well. Second Stop: MPH. The lady got my contacts over the narnia box set, so that I could buy with the vouchers I have. Third Stop: Marina GV, we bought Money not enough 2 tickets. Forth Stop: The arcade beside the cinema. We played initial D, but both of us were yet to win Nakazato after spending $10 on it. I played para para first mix, and I declare that it was more enjoyable than 2nd mix, hehe! Then we went to the cinema to enjoy the movie.

It was great, good story, though predictable. It made me cry and cry and cry. Great grandmother who sacrifice her life for her children and grandchildren, even though they were all so mean to her. Great wife who sacrificed her clean records, placed herself behind the bars for the naughty husband. So touching sia. Also got funny parts like when they threw the ERP into the sea, hehe. I rate ie 4.5 stars out of 5, 0.5 being I don’t understand hokkian, then while I want to read the white subtitles, the background was too bright.

We haven’t had dinner. We rushed to Sakae Sushi at Citylink mall. Last order was already over so we agreed to help to eat some from the belt. We ate those sushi which we never eat before one, hahaha! After that, went back to hall happily.

On Wednesday, Elizabeth went Jurong Point and she asked me if I needed anything. I told her to help me get a air freshener. You know, those Felicia used to use, the big water container with a leaf on top. I said I wanted green colour because leaf was supposed to be green colour. Felicia’s one was pink though, haha. She asked me what flavour I wanted, and I said she can take anything she liked. So, ended up, fearing that I might not like what she bought, she took lemon, the safest. Silly girl!

Thursday, mug mug mug till late then sleep. Friday morning couldn’t wake up already, so slept somemore. After lesson, napped more, pack things, and went home with silly head. So hard to catch a bus at hall 9, everyone was going home at the same time such that 3 buses came were all full! Sighs. I missed a train too, no seats, haha.

Very tired now, I think I am falling sick also. Probably it was due to new environment. No worries, the room was great. Table was smaller and less shelves, but I could make do with that. Cupboard could put less clothes too. Not hot while sleeping too, just lack the air con while I was back sweaty from school. Yasuminasai.

before the countdown’s over

3 August 2008, Sunday

Hello all.

I woke up early in the morning, took jia ann’s car to hall on Friday. Hall 9! Roomie has already moved in. I only knew her being an nie student. The room was generally clean. I didn’t do much work. My roomie has a fridge so I brought mine to my sister’s hall. By the time when everything was done, it was time for dinner already. That was to say, I skipped lunch! I met silly head and William after that. Inspected his room and found that he didn’t clean the windows =\. After making sure that his clean was cleaned, lecture notes were also printed. William drove us to MAL where we saw our lab grouping. I am in the same lab group as Yik Wen and 坏人 Chin Yuan. I went to Lee Wee Nam to print notes, then brought them back to hall to file. After that we went to Jurong Point to have dinner. We ate KFC! We ate a lot lor. The variety meal, student zinger meal, pineapple pie, corn soup from Mos Burger. I bought more things from fair price, then brought all of them back to hall again to put. Before we left Jurong Point, we did something which we would not have missed…

Initial D!

The arcade was so noisy so we didn’t really play well. I was doing one hand steering, with another hand covering my ears. One hand steering was quite bad for me, like harder to control, yet, looked zai, haha. After putting things in hall, we went home. It was so late already.

We went to Tampines on Saturday to buy logistic stuffs for the orientation. It was a bad day, with lots of crying for me. Still, silly head tried to make me happy =). Lots of initial d (even though I played alone) and Hagan Daz! Later on I didn’t feel like going home. I went to Clarke Quay to meet his secondary school classmates. We had dinner at Waraku. The food there was really very nice. I had a scallop cream udon and he had some chicken curry udon. The sushi there looked expensive… so we didn’t order. I made friends there, but could not remember most of the names already. I only remembered the christian names like Paul, Luke and Shaun/Shawn. There was one Dennis who didn’t come, and Paul was tpjcian too. So happy to see Tpjcians everywhere, hehe. A bit sian lah, they never talked to me one, the girls were more friendly. After that we went home.

Chun Kiat came fetch me from home on Sunday then we realised we had lots of things to carry. We bought whatever we needed from Tampines, including a soccer ball fridge from 7 eleven. We cabbed there, then packed things. We met Yuva and we went to Botak Jones with the cnyang people. It has been a long time since we have seen anyone! Silly head ordered cajun chicken cutlet while I ordered Australian Ribeye steak. The food was ok ok lah, but Zin ordered the American Ribeye steak, and it was really nice, for almost double the price!! After eating, we took bus back to ntu and we crapped at a pavilion in Yunan Garden. We told a lot of jokes and cut the cake. Yay! We ended quite late at night so we didn’t have time to do other things. My mysterious roomie was not back yet…

School starts tomorrow, and then the count down shall be over. Get ready to step on the accelerator and go, race for my life, my future, my pride.

my stomach contained an ocean

31 July 2008, Thursday

Hello all.

I went to tpjc for volleyball training yesterday. The evil school did something to the side gate! They installed a turnstile on the gate such that it only allows exit and not entry! I got to walk all the way to the main gate to enter the school, hai. Volleyball training was fun, saw a band member there. One more person quit band and joined volleyball liao, haha. My spiking improved! When I got chance I shall practice more, and I will be a decent enough volleyballer. Happy. After playing, I went home, nothing else happened le. I read nodame manga.

This morning I was still reading nodame manga, haha. Silly head came to my house to find me then we went to buy tickets first for the movie, the mummy: tomb of the dragon emperor. I updated my bank book, happy to see Ghim Li already gave me my salary for the first 17 days. 7 more days will be given next month 28th. Then we met bear, rabbit and toy at Tampines. We then walked to the Japanese Restaurant near my house. We ordered a lot of food! We got drinks, lots of salmon, tuna, don’t know what fish, prawn, baby octopus. We also took a lot of sushi, had some bbq food, chawanmushi. We really ate till 5.30pm, so that to make sure we are still very full at that time. Just for about $18.50 per person, it comprises 3 meals a day! (so full)

After that we played initial D for a while, before going in for the movie. Movie was really nice, but the history was wrong, I think. So fantasy, got powers and big white bears, haha! It was something like Forbidden Kingdom if you ask me. One use stuff to wake up good guy, girl died, use arrow to kill bad guy. Another one use diamond to wake up bad guy, mother died, use knife to kill bad guy. Both got a mixture of Ang Moh and Chinese fighting together, some strong China girl appeared, bad guy wanna be immortal. Actually I thought mummy is the body which is mummified. Mummification is the process of preserving a dead body? The movie seemed to give me the idea that mummies are people made of soil and sand..?

My progress of initial D would be, I won all the games today. Yet, when silly head used a EVO IV against me, I lost. Grr. I won Mako le, now left Nagazato before I will proceed to the hard course. I am loving the game more. =) We also played shooting game lah. Other games like not fun one.

Got to wake up early tomorrow to move house. Yasuminasai!

GTR vs EVO IV

29 July 2008, Tuesday

Hello all!

I had a good night sleep before Sunday, after much hard work for both band and work. Silly head came to my house after lunch, and we watched Ayumi Hamasaki Countdown Live 2007-2008. The part when she travelled from one stage to another was quite funny. They used a trolley to push her all the way there! Haha. On the whole it was really nice, especially Together When… I love that song! She sang untitled ~for her~ very nice too. So touching. She also did some songs which I have never heard before. Happy 2008! Haha.

I polished my trombone after watching, then I realised how beautiful my trombone was supposed to be, haha! After that we went out to have dinner. We ate Pastamania! again!! Hehe. I love the Mussels and Clams pasta. <3 After that we played Initial D again, and he tried to win me with a lancer, EVO IV. I lost once and won once. Apparently that car is faster than mine. I don’t care, I love my car, hehe!

I bought at $79 Giodano jeans at only $29! (jumps)

Monday was great, our 4th month together! Time flies right? Very soon it would be 4 years and then a few years more we would be husband and wife! Then we will have children and they will take care of us =D. I went to meet him at Hougang, we walked around Hougang mall trying to find dvds, but we couldn’t find any. We saw Timezone there too, so we played Initial D there. But it was arcade stage 3, and the steering wheel was very rough. Both of us lost lol! Time’s out, then it was just Toru, the whole game was exactly the same as psp, street stage. Then we played the shooting game, both of us so lousy, haha. After that it was about time to meet Wei Peng who will pass me my jacket. Thank you!

We then took the train to vivo city to have dinner. We had dinner at this place called “White Dog Cafe”. We had a very nice tasting Clam Chowder, Grilled Salmon with Roe, Chicken wrapped mango thing, Lychee soda with pearls and some tropical soda thing. The salmon was very nice!!! Chicken was normal, Lychee soda thing with pearls was very nice too. The atmosphere also very good, nice chairs, sea view. Yet, it was too expensive, it amounted to $60 for the bill, sighs. He bought me cheese!!

cheese

We wanted to play initial D at vivo city but the arcade close already, sian. So we went home.

Today, I went out with Hui Jun. We had a long hot day under the sun trying to locate our destination, but ended up we got quite lost even though we asked around. We were lucky to find a bus stop, then took bus, a few stops only, then we ended up at Suntec City. Still quite noob with Suntec, but we managed to find our way to have a drink first then found Marina Square, then MRT station, and finally took the train to Queenstown. We took bus to Queensway, and I bought a lot of things! Haha. She also bought some stuffs, while we were done, I called silly head to ask for dinner recommendations. He told us to go to Ikea to eat meatball.

Out of Queensway shopping centre, we walked the wrong direction, then walked back, and was happy to see the big Ikea building. Once in, was lost again on how to find the cafe. We managed to find it after asking for directions from the people and also on the phone with Chun Kiat. Then, there we ate, hehe.

I ordered lime jelly, meatball pasta and soft drink, for a total for $10.50. She ordered lime jelly also, and sweet and sour fish. The food was really good for such cheap price. The orientation was the same as quad, but the food of course was 10 times better. The fish was very soft and nice to eat, the meatball tasted really very “meatball”, haha! After eating, we walked in circles at the children section trying to find out way out, then there we were, at the bus stop. Yet, we realised we were at the wrong bus stop direction, so we took the bridge and got to the other side… finally we could go back safely. =)

Silly head came to find me, then we went to play Initial D! Crap I lost to his EVO IV. I shall practice more. I won him while he used a Sileighty though. Later on I managed to out run Shingo by a lot, so finally I could see his losing face le, hahaha! The music played during the race with Shingo kept shouting his name one, so funny. After that we went to the park and then I chionged his psp. I managed to advance quite a bit, and I am loving my car even more now. I love my GTR =D. When I have defeated everyone at Myogi in arcade, it should be time to get a Initial D licence. =)

WE OWN!

26 July 2008, Saturday

Hi all, one of the happiest day of my life is here again! First up, picture of the day:

champion!

Hi Chon Hoong! SILLY HEAD said you secretly read my blog? Well of course you can continue reading but please leave some footprints behind! Tell me how you manage to find your way here and why you like my writing style. So wordy, I never like my writing style. Anyway, thanks for being his friend, and he asked me to send his greetings to you as well. Cheers! =)

I woke up early today also. I went to Ngee Ann to do my presentation. I guessed I have wasted my efforts? After that I talked to a teacher in charge, hopefully he would help the band. I saw the sec1, name something like Rebacca. She can play pretty well as a sec1, I hope she will continue to improve. Shortly after, I met silly head at Tampines, then we had breakfast at Burger King. Later on we met Zuwei, but he lost his wallet. After doing some admin stuff, we went to vivo city. We had lunch at this chicken rice restaurant, not fantastic just normal chicken rice, don’t know why so expensive.

We met his friend, named Samuel from Temasek Poly. Nice guy. We changed there, played volleyball, so fun! Larry came later, so the 5 of us played. Later on I went to play water with Chun Kiat. Then volleyball again, then bathe.

I saw the queue for the toilet cubicle being so long, I just bathed in the toilet public shower area. I showed off my ROXY bikini can, I felt so good, haha!!! Singaporeans all die die queued up for the cubicle, but I very open minded one, I showed off everything le. We are all girls after all.

After that we rushed home. I took my trombone, changed and went to Bedok Interchange hawker centre to have dinner with the section. See you later silly head! I was supposed to go for dinner wit him and his classmates but end up I got to play for the concert. Nicholas bought us cookie mirrors! So nice of him. Hehe.

After that trombone section, along with many other people, took the same bus to siglap cc. We played for a while, and also learning that we were not going to play cavetown (how sad). Oh Adrian said that Mr Douglas Bostock complimented us being the only band which sounded like one!

We reached Esplanade Concert Hall at about 9pm. So much about the checking in, then we got our rooms at the backstage. Big and plentiful rooms, each got a toilet, how nice! =D Then we were all fooling around like little kids, taking a lot of pictures. I felt so secondary school now, I shall continue to act young, hahahaha.

We played, and left the stage. Feeling so good, so much better than RP there. It sounded normal! Hehe. After playing we stayed in the room listening to the results…

“For the 2nd division, 1st place, we have Regent Wind Symphony. They won a Singapore International Band Festival Trophy and a cash prize of $2000.”

“For the 1st division, 1st place, we have Philharmonic Youth Winds. They won a Singapore International Band Festival Trophy and a cash prize of $3000.”

(Everyone screamed and jumped)

“In 4th place, we have Assumption Collage Lampang Symphonic Band… In 3rd place, we have Tom Lee Hong Kong Youth Neowinds Orchestra… For 2nd place, we have… —LONG PAUSE—”

“Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) Symphonic Band. They won a cash prize of $4000.”

(MARIST GOT FIRST!!! SCREAM JUMP JUMP JUMP)

“For the 1st place, we have Maris Stella Symphonic Band (Alumni). They won a Singapore International Band Festival Trophy and a cash prize of $10,000!”

(ROARS…. ADRIAN OWN!!)

“Congratulations to all participating bands. This is the end of the 1st Singapore International Band Festival. See you in 2010!”

After that, most of us stayed on to wait for the arrival of the trophy. Here it came… Ralph took it out and said, Bostock said Hi… (HI!!!) Everyone was so happy to take picture of the divine trophy, passed it around like the olympic fire. It was a fantastic moment of my life, if only there would be trophies for syf too, hahaha!

Thank you philyouth, and thank you the man who made it all, MR ADRIAN CHIANG. You are my idol! Teddy teddy Adrian, conductor of the year, HAHAHA!!! Rethinking my decision to quit philyouth already, lol. Where to find a band which can play well, and yet so happy everyday? With my 8 years of band experience, this is the only one so far.

Looking forward to any more celebrations with those adorable kids. I am super super tired, muscle ache from volleyball too, time for a good rest.

Aichi Meiden High School in Singapore again

25 July 2008, Friday

Wow hi, cannot be more happy than this. Today is the last day of work!

For my excitement I left my dearest jacket on my chair. I was nice ok, I deleted most of the things I installed on the computer. I haven’t found a way to delete my screensaver though.

I gave out chocolates to them. Teck Noi, Angeline and Eileen shared a present for me. I will miss everyone!

Later on I opened it up in the bus and found a nice pouch, bracelet and ear rings, very nice, thanks. Good taste! I don’t have ear holes so I am giving them to my sister.

I met silly head at Tanah Merah then we took train to Cityhall. We had KFC for dinner at Funan IT Mall there. We rushed to VCH and just nice the concert started. Stanley was there too! He has got more good looking again! They played a perfectly balanced, in tuned and expressive Greensleeves and Armenian Dances I. I couldn’t remember the rest of the songs, so chim, haha! The second half got the really very nice Riverdance, a highly difficult song, even so, they did it will neat formations on the stage. They also did their signature song, Deep Purple Medley. Haha! They did a Japanese folk song too. I coudn’t remember much more, but I was upset that I was sitting at the circle seats, thus unable to see the dancers at the stalls. 2 years later I shall buy stall seats! I think they did 4 encore pieces? One of them was Saturday Night. They reused really lots of reprotiore from last time.

So happy, they did their usual entertaining concert this year, and everyone loves them! Silly head and I went out of VCH, and we found our way to the Raffles Place mrt station. Actually walked a bit too far then we U turned back. Then we heard some girls saying, “hey where is the mrt station ah?”

LOL. (runs away from them)

We went to Tampines Mall to play initial D again after that, it was not very late. I WON AGAIN!! WAHAHAHA. He said he gonna use lancer to beat me next game. Oh I am so scared~~~

Rest now, tomorrow is a super long day. Yasuminasai!

Your highness signs off.

double victory!

24 July 2008, Thursday

Hello all!!

I am on leave today, and I still have to wake up early to reach siglap cc at 9.30am. Silly head sent me there!! We practised a while there and then we were given buns and tarts for lunch. That was like so little but I created this joke out of the food. The pieces we are using for the competition are Symphonic Overture by James Barnes and Cavetowns ‘Cappadocia’ by Satoshi Yagisawa. Let’s play well for Symphonic Overture by eating JAMES BUNS!!! I thought it was funny but my section said I was lame. Then when I was speaking of the same joke out of the band room everyone else was laughing. This trombone section apparently is one of a kind huh. I gave them the cute ice-creams!! Fadz gave us chocolates, and somebody don’t know who gave us a card each and chocolates too. So nice of them.

We took the bus to Republic Polytechnic Cultural Centre, loitering around at first. Richard Adams saw us and he said, “This band shall be disqualified! So many people!” LOL. Shortly after, we arrived at the tuning room. GREAT Mervin gave us miracle water to spray at our mouths, it was such a good feeling! We sounded like so FANTASTIC in the tuning room, and I have never heard ourselves sounding so nice before. Adrian CHEONG clapped clapped clapped and said YOU GUYS SOUNDED GREAT!! Haha, full of confidence, we met our way to the stage…

And before the person let us into the stage, there was like about a waiting time of 5 minutes? I was like getting the SYF feeling already! A flautist said, “I hate waiting! It makes me nervous!” It sounded so true right.

Ok and we arrived on the stage, and I showed my teeth (big big smile =D ). Before we started, we played a 135 chord, and there, the show began.

All musicians on stage that day all complained about the same thing. The individual sounded super loud and the band sounded very soft, and I couldn’t even hear Xing Xia and Mervyn! Scary. Yet, all I did was to believe in my rehearsals and played as per normal, though it was really quite scary. I made a bit of mistakes in the 2 songs also lah, I bet everyone did in their nervousness on stage.

While it was over, I saw a judge on my extreme left of the judges panel held his hand up high clapping. Hmm, probably he did it for all other bands too?

Everyone came out and complained about the stage, haha. Some went back and listen to RP, and for people like me, just kept instruments and collected the name card and program booklet. Tse Wei and Adrian Cheong came and said I played very well! (Suky flies) Called up silly head and he came to accompany me there, then we both took the bus back to siglap cc shortly after. Silly head said we were the best he have ever heard in the morning! =D

“You all come in got aura one leh, got cello got harp, the band so big.”

Everyone was there saying that RP was great and we would probably lost to them. Actually I have never heard ourselves before, so, anyhow did a recording?

I went home to put down the trombone, changed, and I brought my printer out with silly head to canon service centre to send it for service. What a nice building! I felt like working on toy planes in the future and we shall have a building like this!! =D

We went to vivo city, walked around, and I bought a belt! I took picture with the Candy Empire Crown, and now let me show you the belt…

hime princess with belt!

We went to Superdog to have our dinner. I declare Superdog being the best fast food ever! It has a great chilli fries. I can’t take chilli, and their chilli is not really spicy, its more of curry taste. Hog dog was very nice!! What’s more, he bought me cheese. =D

cheese Look at my princess hair clip he bought me!

We went to vivo city arcade to play afterwards. It seem that different Timezone accepts different cards, so we got to buy a new card for this time zone, it was a paper one, so we threw it away later. Initial D… I WON!!! I won him with an automatic car!!! WAHAHAHAHA!!!

Then we went home, hehe. On my way home, already in Tampines, John messaged at 10.35pm:

“93.43 gold!”

(Suky jumps)

John messaged again in a few seconds:

“We are the top band in 1st division!”

(Suky screams)

Thanks philyouth, we have done it! I told him that I am going home now to check results. That was like my 4th Gold Medal since 2003, and in 8 years of myself in band scene. No silver and no bronze too! I wonder which band will break by pure golden record?  I thanked Adrian of course, and later on, I asked John… We are playing on Saturday?

A yes. Yah, it sort of ruin my Saturday plan, but it was ok. Not to forget that I got to work tomorrow, so I shall sleep.

farewell dinners

23 July 2008, Wednesday

Hello all, sorry for slow updating as I am really busy this week. This entry will be from Monday to Wednesday. =)

First up, my DREAM BAG, Kathy van zeeland “crown princess” belt shopper, US$89:

dream bag

Monday was a normal working day, but I asked my ghim li friends out for dinner at Pastamania. They were Poh Hoon, Yik Ching, Wei Peng, Hui Ting, Adrian and Derek. I had a very nice seafood pasta thing which comprises of mussels, clams and scallops. The rest of them ate really good food too. After eating, we went to precious moments, then Poh Hoon bought some present for her friends getting married… Somehow I felt that it looked a bit little boy little girl hahahaha!! Like I used to buy a pair of soft toys for my teacher while I was in.. PRIMARY SCHOOL. Silly head came later! But I was playing hide and seek with him, then I was shopping for philyouth and ghim li present. Of course he did manage to find me in the end. See what little cute things I bought for philyouth!! =D

ice-creams 5 cute ice-creams!!

I bought silly head a cheese key chain for his psp. =D He shall never able to concentrate playing with this!! Silly head and I went to play Initial D! Haha we finished up the easy stage, defeated all opponents, so happy!

Tuesday, it was band practice at siglap after work. They played in the hall so it was huge. OMG there was like a harp too??? The oboe didn’t come again, but I heard that he came on Sunday. I suay lor. Arcade closed early today so I assumed that Tuesday is a “go home early” day. No initial D =(.

Wednesday was normal working day, then I went out for farewell dinner again, at Cafe Cartel. There were only 4 of us namely Angeline, Teck Noi and Eileen. I ended work like 15 minutes late for free to take Angeline’s car. HAPPY IT WAS A 6 SEATER!! HAHAHA!!! 3 of us had the St louis pork ribs, completed with a meal too. SO NICE!! Don’t know they can’t finish lol. Angeline had that grilled chicken which looked nice too. After that we also ordered desserts, a cheese cake and a fruits ice-cream. We didn’t manage to finish it, so I called silly head to come and clear them up. Then I was walking around at century square, still couldn’t find a belt that I like!!! We went to the fun factory upstairs, but the BIG BIG WOMAN said:

“TELL THEM ITS THE LAST GAME!”

So fierce, sound like discipline master. Mrs Sundram, WAHAHHA. So we went to Tampines Mall to play. We won Kenji!! Hehe.

That would be all for farewell dinners. Tomorrow is the BIG day. Rest early… and good luck.
